Say hello to…

One month from today, Lara and I will be landing in the Czech Republic, about to begin intern leader training. We could not be more thrilled that the date draws nearer and nearer, and that we will get to spend the summer serving the people we love.

Soon following behind us will be the rest of our intern team – and we would love to introduce you to them!

Jeremy Hamann is from Washington and is a current student at Biola University in California. While in high school he had the opportunity to serve on a short-term missions team with JV in Slovenia, and is thrilled to be spending this summer doing ministry in Czech.

Petra Voráčová grew up in Prague, and currently studies at Charles University. Coming from an unbelieving family, she first heard the gospel at an English Camp five years ago. Petra was an intern with JV in 2012, and desires that God would use this summer to deepen her relationship with Him and to witness God’s transforming work in the lives of her people.

Ann Fairall is from Florida and currently studying to become an elementary teacher at Liberty University. She got connected with Josiah Venture through her church, where she first met Rob and Audrey Chestnut, who help head up the Czech English Camp ministry. This will be her first time serving in Czech, and she cannot wait to love on the dear people we will be serving with.

You will be hearing a lot about these three dear individuals in the coming months! We know that it is the Lord who has brought us together, and we know that he will bind us together as a team and welcome us into what He is already doing among the youth of the Czech Republic.

Financial Update: Lara and I are still only at about 15% support for our summer. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us as we spend our summer serving in the Czech Republic? You can do so by clicking here or on the link on the above right column. Thank you!
